Environmental Action Plan (EAP)
  • The EAP is a site-specific plan developed to ensure that appropriate corrective and preventive action measures are taken to resolve problems identified during internal and/or external inspections and audits.
  • A written EAP, with a description of the corrective actions, is developed to assist in site or project management implementation of the corrective actions. In addition, a review of the EAP allows.
  • The EAP developed to address problems in the areas of air and water pollution control, noise abatement, solid and hazardous waste generation, hazardous materials management, and resource use and conservation. The EAP would typically outline corrective actions that include a combination of engineered and administrative controls and potentially remedial or clean-up activities.
